ClassPin Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 8, 2026 · Last Updated: August 8, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ClassPin, including its website, web application, features, services, and related functionality (collectively, the “Service”). In these Terms, “ClassPin,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the ClassPin Service.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a ClassPin account or use the Service. ClassPin is designed for use by adults managing household and family information. Children are not permitted to create ClassPin accounts. If you use ClassPin on behalf of another person or household, you represent that you have authority to provide and manage the information you submit.
2. Description of the Service
ClassPin is an organizational tool designed to help users capture, upload, store, extract, and organize information from documents, images, QR codes, and other submitted content. Depending on the features available to your account, ClassPin may help identify and organize information such as: dates and deadlines; appointments and events; tasks; names; school and teacher information; payment information; supply information; locations; and other information contained in submitted materials. ClassPin may also provide calendars, reminders, notifications, document storage, family profiles, and other organizational features. Features may change, be added, removed, limited, or updated over time.
3. ClassPin Is an Organizational Assistant
ClassPin is intended to assist users with organizing information. It is not intended to replace the original source of information or the user's own review and judgment. You remain responsible for reviewing your documents, confirming important information, monitoring deadlines and obligations, and taking appropriate action. The original document, notice, message, communication, or other source remains the authoritative source.
4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
ClassPin uses artificial intelligence and automated technologies to analyze and organize certain content submitted through the Service.
AI and automated systems can make mistakes.
Extracted or generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, incorrectly categorized, associated with the wrong person, or omitted entirely.
This may include errors involving dates, deadlines, appointments, events, names, tasks, payment amounts, supplies, locations, instructions, or other information.
You should review and verify AI-extracted information against the original source before relying on it.
Your use of AI and automated functionality is also subject to the ClassPin AI & Automation Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Reminders and Notifications
ClassPin may provide reminders, notifications, calendars, task lists, and similar organizational features.
These features are provided for convenience and should be treated as supplemental organizational tools.
ClassPin does not guarantee that any reminder or notification will be created, scheduled, delivered, received, displayed, synchronized, or accurate.
Delivery may be affected by factors outside ClassPin's control, including device settings, internet connectivity, browser settings, third-party services, operating systems, email providers, notification permissions, service outages, or incorrect or incomplete information.
You should not rely on ClassPin as your sole method of tracking critical deadlines, appointments, payments, medical instructions, legal obligations, emergencies, or other matters where failure to act could result in significant harm or loss.
6. No Professional Advice
ClassPin does not provide medical, legal, financial, educational, tax, emergency, or other professional advice.
Information identified, extracted, organized, summarized, or displayed by ClassPin should not be interpreted as professional advice or as a substitute for information provided by a qualified professional or the original source.
When appropriate, contact the relevant school, teacher, healthcare provider, organization, business, government agency, professional, or other authoritative source.
7. User Accounts
Certain features require a ClassPin account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your information reasonably current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You should notify ClassPin at classpinai@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may require additional verification before making certain account changes or providing access to account information.
8. Family and Child Information
ClassPin allows adult users to organize information relating to children and other family members.
By submitting information concerning another person, you represent that you have the right or appropriate authority to provide and process that information through the Service.
You should avoid uploading information that is unnecessary for the organizational purpose for which you are using ClassPin.
ClassPin accounts are intended for adults. ClassPin does not currently provide accounts intended for independent use by children under 13.
Additional information regarding how ClassPin handles personal information is provided in the Privacy Policy.
9. User Content
“User Content” means documents, photographs, images, information, text, and other materials that you upload, submit, store, or otherwise provide through ClassPin.
As between you and ClassPin, you retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant ClassPin a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, transmit, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the Service and its functionality.
This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to ClassPin.
You represent that you have the rights or authorization reasonably necessary to submit and process your User Content through the Service.
10. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use ClassPin to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- upload content you do not have the right or authorization to possess, copy, upload, or process;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- bypass or attempt to bypass security, authentication, access controls, usage limits, or subscription restrictions;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization;
- introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful technology;
- use automated systems to abuse or overload the Service;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
- use the Service for fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, or abusive activity; or
- use the Service in a manner that could harm ClassPin, its users, or third parties.
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or when necessary to protect the Service, users, or others.
11. Subscriptions and Paid Features
ClassPin may offer free and paid plans.
Available plans, features, usage allowances, limitations, and prices may change over time.
The applicable price and plan terms are those displayed to you at the time of purchase.
Paid subscriptions may automatically renew at the applicable billing interval until canceled.
Before completing a paid subscription, you will be provided with applicable pricing and billing information.
Payments and subscription billing may be processed through a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. ClassPin does not directly store complete payment-card information when payment information is handled by the payment processor.
Your payment provider may also impose its own terms and privacy practices.
12. Subscription Changes
ClassPin may modify available plans, pricing, features, or usage allowances from time to time.
Any price changes applicable to an existing recurring subscription will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any notice requirements that apply.
Changing plans may affect the features or usage allowances available to your account.
We will not guarantee that any particular plan, price, feature, or usage allowance will remain available indefinitely.
13. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid ClassPin subscription through the subscription-management options made available through the Service.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation, cancellation will take effect at the end of your then-current billing period. You may continue to have access to the applicable paid features through the end of that billing period.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your ClassPin account or User Content.
14. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, subscription payments are non-refundable.
Canceling a subscription generally prevents future renewal charges but does not provide a refund or credit for amounts already paid or for any unused portion of the current billing period.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact ClassPin at classpinai@gmail.com.
15. Usage Limits
ClassPin plans may include limits relating to document scans, AI processing, storage, family profiles, children, features, or other usage.
Current limits applicable to a plan will be displayed within the Service or during the purchase process.
We may prevent additional usage after an applicable limit has been reached.
Usage limits may change as plans and features evolve. We do not guarantee that any particular usage allowance will remain available indefinitely.
16. Third-Party Services
ClassPin relies on or may integrate with third-party services to provide portions of the Service, including services related to hosting, databases, authentication, artificial intelligence, payments, email, notifications, analytics, storage, and other functionality.
ClassPin may also provide links to or integrations with third-party websites, calendars, applications, or services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and practices. ClassPin does not control and is not responsible for the operation, availability, security, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
17. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but ClassPin may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, or limited due to maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party outages, security issues, internet or network conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of the Service.
Features may be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued as ClassPin develops.
18. Beta and Developing Features
ClassPin may offer features that are new, experimental, beta, preview, or otherwise still under development.
Such features may contain errors, change without notice, perform differently than expected, or be modified or discontinued.
Your use of these features is subject to the same verification responsibilities described in these Terms, particularly for AI-generated information, reminders, dates, tasks, and other automated functionality.
19. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party materials, ClassPin and the Service, including its software, design, branding, graphics, interfaces, features, and other original content, are owned by or licensed to ClassPin and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of ClassPin or its intellectual property.
You may use the Service only for its intended purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Additional information regarding copyright complaints and User Content is provided in ClassPin's Copyright Policy.
20. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, comments, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback regarding ClassPin, you grant ClassPin permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Providing feedback does not transfer ownership of your User Content to ClassPin.
21. Copyright
ClassPin respects intellectual-property rights.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights or authorization to upload and process materials through the Service.
ClassPin may remove or restrict content or accounts where appropriate in response to intellectual-property concerns.
Additional information is available in the ClassPin Copyright Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
22. Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using ClassPin at any time.
Where account-deletion functionality is available, you may request or initiate deletion through the Service.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe:
- these Terms have been materially violated;
- the account is being used unlawfully or fraudulently;
- the account creates a security risk;
- continued access could harm ClassPin, another user, or a third party; or
- suspension or termination is required by law.
Where reasonable and legally permitted, we may provide notice before termination.
Termination does not eliminate obligations or rights that by their nature should survive termination.
23. Account Deletion
Deleting your account may permanently remove or make inaccessible User Content and other account information, subject to applicable retention requirements and technical backup processes.
Canceling a paid subscription and deleting an account are separate actions.
You should retain copies of important information before deleting your account.
Certain records may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required, including records relating to billing, fraud prevention, security, disputes, and legal compliance.
Additional information regarding deletion and retention is provided in the Privacy Policy.
24. Data Storage and Loss
ClassPin may allow users to store documents and other information.
Although we use safeguards designed to protect information, no storage or internet-based service can guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, deleted, compromised, or unavailable.
You should retain copies of important original documents and information outside ClassPin.
ClassPin should not be used as the sole repository for information you cannot afford to lose.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLASSPIN AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
CLASSPIN DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND AVAILABILITY, TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES MAY LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED.
We do not warrant that:
- the Service will always be available or uninterrupted;
- the Service will be error-free;
- AI-extracted information will be accurate or complete;
- every date, deadline, task, event, or other detail will be identified;
- reminders or notifications will always be created or delivered;
- defects will always be corrected; or
- the Service will meet every user's particular requirements.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
26. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLASSPIN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
This includes, to the extent permitted by law, losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete AI extraction, missed or incorrect reminders, unavailable services, lost or corrupted content, unauthorized access, or reliance on information generated or organized by the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLASSPIN'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CLASSPIN FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
The limitations in this section apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
27. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClassPin from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:
- your unlawful use of the Service;
- User Content you submit in violation of another person's rights;
- your material violation of these Terms; or
- your fraud or willful misconduct.
This obligation does not require you to indemnify ClassPin for ClassPin's own unlawful conduct to the extent such an obligation would be prohibited by law.
28. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and disputes arising from or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal law or another applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction over the dispute.
These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
29. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as ClassPin evolves or as necessary to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the Service.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date.
If required by applicable law, or if changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance as appropriate.
Continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
30. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed as appropriate, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
31. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, AI & Automation Disclaimer, Copyright Policy, and any additional terms expressly presented to you for a particular feature or subscription, constitute the agreement between you and ClassPin concerning your use of the Service.
If additional terms expressly applicable to a particular feature conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms will control with respect to that feature to the extent of the conflict.
32. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
ClassPin may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, change in control, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
